More About The Sun Bonnet Trio
The Sun Bonnets (Bunny, Bubbles and Beulah) are the youngest performers of the bears (Oscar is still the youngest bear on stage but doesn’t sing).
In the original show and Christmas Special, the bears have picture slides behind them to illustrate their song and show the lyrics. These slides are a throwback to the days of vaudeville. In the early 1900s, a performance called the “Illustrated Song” was widely used in the United States. A performer would stand on the stage and sing while photographic or painted slides which illustrated the song were projected behind the performer. Due to the amount of early 1900s references we see in the Jamboree, (i.e. The gilded angel adorned proscenium, the variety-style show, Ernest’s nickname “The Dude” and Teddi Barra embodying vaudeville star Evelyn Nesbitt) it is no surprise that the Illustrated Song has made a time-period appropriate appearance. In true Jamboree fashion, all of the illustrations add a more humorous aspect to the song than those in the lyrics, so guests are encouraged to watch closely!

Behind the Bear
Bunny stands in the center of the stage. She is voiced by Jackie Ward. Bubbles is voiced by Loulie Jean Norman who delivered the vocals over the opening theme song for the first two seasons of Star Trek. Beulah is voiced by Peggy Clark. In the Vacation Hoedown and Christmas Special, Bunny is voiced by Dianne Michelle, Bubbles is voiced by Lori Johnson and Beulah is voiced by Holaday Mason.
