Buff is one of the talking heads who introduce the show. He is a Buffalo who is situatied between Melvin the Moose and Max the Deer. Since the Disney Land (California) Country Bear attraction has become "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", Buff can be seen in the ride along with Melvin and Max.
Behind the Bear
Buff is voiced by legendary voice actor Thurl Ravenscroft in all three versions of the show. If he sounds familiar, that is likely because Ravenscroft is known for providing the “GRRRRREAT” voice of Tony the Tiger of Frosted Flakes cereal. He can also be heard in Pirates of the Caribbean and the Enchanted Tiki Room.
