Little Oscar

More About Oscar
Little Oscar is a small bear who sits on the right side of the stage. According to the 1972 Country Bear album, he is the son of Zeb and travels with the band because his Mom is working. We hear Zeb reference his boy on Vacation Hoedown when he says "Hey Zeke, little Oscar here wants to hear a story...a real scary story", to which Zeke and the Rugs respond by performing "Ghost Riders in the Sky".

Throughout all versions of the show, Little Oscar is clutching an even smaller bear- his teddy bear, which makes a honking noise as he squeezes it after several of the musical numbers.

Behind the Bear
Oscar does not speak or sing in any version of the show.
